RS232 control of new devices.
Digital output of BEO signals to allow control of BEOSYSTEM 1, etc. on data input. Tested on Crestron computer.
Optional RS485/RS232 selection disables adaptive-bus-data-collison-control if choosing RS232, saving 12-15 ms when communicating in RS232 with the TT455-RT-238 from computer. Option RS485 (default) is recommended covering full and half duplex communication.

TT455-RT-38 - Automatic exit of Light, Color, Record and Text mode

When using the TT455-RT-238 in Light mode, the BEO4 will automatically exit from Light mode and return to previous mode if not activated for 25 seconds. The TableTop will remain in Light Mode, but the BEO4 will read for example TV or Radio. This confuses most users.

Also when operating in Color, Record or Text mode (provided these modes are allowed as special modes) the users often forgets that he working in a special mode.

Assume you are controlling a DVD player in DVD mode, and you want to change the functionality of the direction keys from skip- and Go-functions to DVD menu functions like Up, Down and OK/Eenter. In the setup of the Memory Map, allow color mode, and specifiy that when in mode RED, a different set of IR signals are send out when activating direction and Go keys. When you hit Exit, the software will return to DVD mode and restore the functionality of the direction keys from Up, Down and OK/Enter into skip- and Go-functions.

We have now added a software feature:
TT455-RT-238 will now return to the previous mode when you in Light, Color, Record or Text mode hit Exit, or when the BEO4 has not been operated for 25 seconds.

When the TT455-RT-238 exit you will see a short blink on the LED (if the LED is programmed to show RemoteDetection).

TT455-RT-38 - Added NoBusRx - NoBusTx

A new NoBusTx- and NoBusRx-filter allows you to block for transmission and reception of certain groups of B&O signals: TV, LIGHT, RADIO, SAT, DVD, CD, VTAPE and ATAPE.
This allows you to optimize control of for example multiple TV's i different rooms.
Must work with SETUP version 1.2.1 or up.

Added detection of Echostar code set. Still being tested by customer.

TT455-RX-232 - Enhanced communication settings and string control

Now includes N,7,2 - E,7,1 - O,7,1 - N,8,1 - E,8,1 - O,8,1 at optional baudrate 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200 and 38400.
Enhanced string control to cover the whole ASCII table and allow character 0 to be mized as part of the text string.

TT455-RT-38 - Forced mode control when in VTAPE mode

When using the TT455-RT-238 to control other brand audio/video devices in the VTAPE mode, some of the B&O functions did not work. This was caused by the BEO4 sending out TV formatted signals on for example volume up/down, but sending out VTAPE formatted signals on for example numbers and Next, Previous. We have now enhanced the software of the TT455-RT-238 to automatically adjust for this "inconsistent behaviour of the BEO4" allowing you to use all functions in VTAPE mode.

TT455-RT-38 - Exit returns to color mode

Upon request from Bang&Olufsen in USA: When using the TT455-RT-238 in Color mode, the TT455-RT-238 will now return to the previous non-color mode when you hit Exit, which is quite useful. TT455-RT-38 - Repeated B&O transmission enhanced

I believe that not too many users realize this, but the TT455-RT-238 may also transmit B&O signals which is very handy when controlling B&O devices from a computer. We have enhanced the transmission routine. Some codes were not repeated properly.

TT455-RT-238 was still able to convert B&O signals into 38 KHz signals while in LearnMode, causing the TT455-RT-238 to send codes while learning. Not a big issue, but corrected anyway.

Adaptive CollisionControl, all products

Means that the software will detect if data collision control is required in an RS485 databus enivronments. When sending data onto the bus the software will wait for a clear/silent dataline for 8 ms or more if required. Earlier the collision control always waited 12 ms. The Adaptive CollisionControl will speed up decoding and transmission to the PC is only one device is used in the bus-systems, which is the case in most installations.
