below to make sure you get what you need.
The TableTop product is delivered "as-is".
This means what you get, is the TableTop product in its metallic housing. In
order to keep the price as low as possible, we have not added items you might not need or
items you already have available, maybe at a lower cost than what we can offer.
Also, the TableTop product is often delivered to
installers whom use it in special installations, which require different accessories on
each project. Also if we added too much stuff, you would soon get tired of throwing it out
when buying frequently. We have therefore decided that you create your order as you need
it.
The danger is that you might need things you
did not order, so it is important you read the below before completing your order and add
the items required. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact LinTronic for
assistance.
POWER
The TableTop product will work on 9 to 12 volt DC
(negative ring, positive inner joint). If you do not already have a power supply capable
of delivering a minimum of 350 mA, then you need to add a PowerAdap_002.
Our power suppply is delivered with EURO-plug for the 220-240/50 Hz vac mains outlet.
Customers in countries using 115/60Hz vac
(USA/Canada) will have to purchase power supply locally. LinTronic do not offer power
supplies power by 115 vac.
COMPUTER COMMUNICATION CABLE FOR
CONFIGURATION AND FOR HOMEAUTOMATION
The TableTop product must be configured from a
computer. If you do not already have a comm cable you wil need one. If your computer holds
an RS232 serial comm port, you can use the 9-pin straight-though ComCab-001.
If your computer holds a USB port, you can use ComCab-002.
Also, if you want the TableTop product to control
your computer ... music, email, sms, web-browsing, ect. then you will need one of the
above mentioned cables.
If you want the TableTop product to control a
device by converting into RS232, you need to investigate the pin-out of that device to
determine the type of cable. Do not hesitate to contact LinTronic for assistance.
OPEN OR HIDDEN INSTALLATION

The TableTop product may be used in an open
environment, where the TableTop product is placed for example in the livingroom with the other
audio/video devices. See LinTronic drawings and customer pictures. The TableTop product will receive the Triggering
remote control signals in the front and send powerfull IR out through the front.
However if you want to store the TableTop product
away, for example to control devices hidden in cabinets, you will need some of the below:
- TT-IR-8087030 (B&O receiver, plasma protected, cable can be extended to 50 mtr)
- TT-IR-1455 (B&O receiver with 5 meter cable, not plasma protected)
- TT-IR-ET-03 (3-way low power IR emitter for controlling hidden devices, 2 meters cable).
The TableTop product will support ONE TT-IR-ET03.
If have more than 3 hidden devices, you will need the TT-IR-Distributor.
PLASMA AND LCD PROTECTION

If TableTop product is used in an environment with a plasma screen (and some LCD screens),
then a TT-IR-8087030 must be used as external receiver, to filter out the disturbing infrared noise
from the screens surface.
