Even if you do not own any other B&O products, there are hundreds of good reasons why we recommend that you invest in a BEO4 /BEO5. TT455-RT-238 is a universal signal-converter, typically operated by a remote control called the Trigger (Apple, B&O, Bose, LogiTech, Keyspan, NEC, Nevo, Philips, Pronto and more), controlling a wide number of Actions: Audio/video products, amplifiers, cd/dvd players, TVs, flatscreens, projectors, light systems, fireplaces, aircondition, curtains, relays, HomeAutomation programs and much more. Triggers / Actions - TT455-RT-238 can be controlled by a wide range of Triggers and can control a wide range of Actions. More... 250 Actions - TT455-RT-238 controls up to 250 Actions. The 250 Actions can be shared by your products in any combination. The TT455-RT-238 automatically allocates the memory required to control each product as you design your configuration. Macro - TT455-RT-238 allows you to control up to 32 Actions by the same Trigger. You can change the sequence and timing and add delays to make it work perfect. Computer configured - TT455-RT-238 is configured on a PC by means of our free of charge Configurator program. No particular computer skills is required. After configuration you may use TT455-RT-238 as a stand-alone converter. (Configuration on a MAC requires you run a Windows XP licens under Parallels). Computer Control - Leaving the TT455-RT-238 connected to the computer, expands the functionality dramatically and practically leaves no limitations. More... Developers - Our
open-source protocol allows your programmers to
create software reacting to incoming Triggers and command the
TT455-RT-238 to for example transmit IR codes. Furthermore you may
software-fix your outgoing commands
and adjust the TT455-RT-238's dynamic Memory Map to the
individual customers needs. We have dedicated commands for
pointing directly into the Memory Map. BEO1 operation - TT455-RT-238 may be operated from the BEO1. TT455-RT-238 allows the BEO1 to simulate multiple modes: TV, SAT/DTV, DVD, LIGHT, RADIO, CD, etc. BEO4 optimized - TT455-RT-238 and RELAY 208 are designed for optimal cooperation with the BEO4. This opens for a wide range of new control possibilites. More... BeoRepeater - TT455-RT-238 optionally receives and re-transmits B&O commands. This allows you to "shoot around corners" where you normally would have no remote control range. Use it to receive a command in one room and re-transmit it in another room. BeoLink - TT455-RT-238 can send/receive command over the masterlink. Furthermore TT455-RT-238 may react to LINK-commands from your B&O remote to further expand the control options. More... Open/Hidden installations - Connectors for external IR/DATA receivers and emitters/transmitters, allows the TT455-RT-238 to work in open or closed environments. Integrated IR receivers - TT455-RT-238 includes both a 36-40 KHz receiver and a 455 KHz receiver (B&O, AMX, etc.). This allows the TT455-RT-238 to learn/copy/decode codes from your existing remote controls. InfraRed booster - TT455-RT-238 includes a long-range high-power wide-angle IR booster, capable of transmitting InfraRed signals from a huge variety of remote control code sets. As most manufacturers license an industrial standard code, our CodeCollection covers more than 95% of the markets remote controls and we are constantly adding more. IR distribution - TT455-RT-238 also includes a low-power IR output allowing you to mount IR emitters on the front of your products, in case these are hidden in cabinets out of the TT455-RT-238's range. RS232 / RS485 - TT455-RT-238 also supports RS232/RS485 commands for many light systems, projectors, screens, computers, etc. If you wish to control a product by means of RS232 commands, then contact us with the commands/protocol, and we will embed it in the firmware. Digital Inputs/Outputs - TT455-RT-238 includes digital inputs and outputs allowing you to connect for example a motion detector or telephone relay, to control your light or mute the stereo when the phone is busy or ringing. Furthermore TT455-RT-238 can be triggered by digital outputs from other products, like for example the BeoSystem. More... Network - TT455-RT-238 includes a long-range 2-wire industrial bus, allowing you to network connect up to 32 pcs. You may also use X10 commands from elsewhere in the house as trigger for the TT455-RT-238, meaning you can for example control audio/video products, computer, etc. by means of X10 transmitters, panels, modules and remote controls.
