We want you to have the best possible experience with our products. Please take
some time to make sure your order is complete.
The relay
board is often delivered to installers whom use it in special installations, which require different
accessories on each project. Also it is very annoying to miss a single item later. We have therefore decided
that you create your order as you need it.
Our ordering system does automatically add items which a certain number of other customers found interesting. Check the
below to make sure you get what you need.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact LinTronic for
assistance.

CABINET
The RELAY 208
is delivered with a solid-state polyurethane enclosure/cabinet and 10 pcs. wire-through
bolts (PG7). We have drilled no wholes in the cabinet as customers will have
different needs for amount of wholes and location of wholes. See PDF file.
POWER
The RELAY 208 works on 12 volt DC. If you
do not already have a power supply, then you need a PowerAdap-002.
The total power consumption when all 8 relays
are active at the same time, is approx 200 mA. Please note that if you plan on controlling
12 volt devices, and feed the power to these devices from the same power supply which
supplies the RELAY 208, you need to ensure that the power supply can supply the full load.
Customers in countries using
115/60Hz vac (USA/Canada) will have to purchase power supply locally. LinTronic do not
offer 115 vac power supplies.
COMPUTER COMMUNICATION CABLE FOR
CONFIGURATION AND COMPUTER CONTROL
The RELAY 208 must be configured from a
computer. If you do not already have a comm cable you wil need one. If your computer holds
an RS232 serial comm port, you can use the 9-pin straight-though ComCab-001.
If your computer holds a USB port, you can use ComCab-003.
Also, if you want to control the RELAY 208
from the computer (PC, Crestron, AXM, etc.) then you will need one of the above mentioned
cables.
INFRARED RECEIVERS
The RELAY 208 can be directly controlled by a Bang&Olufsen remote
control (BEO4, BEO5). Later we might add more remote controls (AMX, Apple, Bose, Nec, Philips
RC5, etc.). If you have a specific need, contact us.
TT-IR-8087030
(recommended) offers true B&O operation range performance and
is protected against interfering infrared noise from LCD and plasma
screens. Wires can be extended up to 50 meters.
TT-IR-1455 is
a low-cost alternative. Not lcd/plasma protected. Wires can not be
extended.
