Get in total control with your own programmable codes - no running license free

Based on 10+ years of experience specializing in InfraRed, RadioWave and data communication, LinTronic have invented a dynamic and flexible codeset, suitable for remote control of for example audio/video related products, computers, controllers and Home-Automation systems.

The codeset allows manufacturers, installers and programmers to effectively expand the functionality of a learnable remote control, for control of audio/video products, light systems, curtains, blinders, aircon, pc, controllers, home-automation programs, etc. etc.

Any one of the 65.536 available licenses allows the individual user/operator to remote control from 1 to 65.536 different devices each holding from 1 to 65.536 commands – giving the individual license owner a total of up to 4.294.967.296 codes.

The code is divided in 4 (optionally 5 or 6) parameters: INFO - OWNER - DEVICE - COMMAND [-REPEAT] [-CHECKSUM]

• INFO is a dynamic information specifying what is included in the rest of the code, making decoding easy and accurate
• OWNER is a 5-digit license number ranging from 00000 to 65.535
• DEVICE is a 5-digit address number ranging from 00000 to 65.535 (example: 000001 = CD PLAYER, 00002 = HARD DISK, etc.)
• COMMAND is a 5-digit instruction number ranging from 00000 to 65.535 (00000 = STOP, 00001 = PLAY, 00012 = STANDBY, etc.)
• REPEAT is optionally added, allowing the decoding device to keep track of the code-repetition without counting, which allows dynamic control
• CHECKSUM is optionally added to offer code-reception verification/security

If a TT455-RT-238 Signal Converter is used to generate the codes for a learnable remote, then the code length is dynamically adjusted to send as little information as possible, in order to reduce the time required to learn/resend the code which extend the life time of the batteries in a remote control and speeds up the decoding process.

Progressive control of light, volume, etc.
Furthermore, the code is optionally capable of adding a running repeat number telling the decoder for how long time the user hold the remote control activated ... or if code is transmitted from a computer ... how many times the codes was repeated, without the need for continuous reception and counting, which is great for progressive control of for example volume, curtains speed, light level control, etc.

Cooperates with learnable remote controls ... even in the field
For Home-Automation installers/programmers, a PC based configuration tool allows the individual license owner to manage and generate to codes required for his system. One license owner cannot generate codes holding another license owners ID, which ensures safety against unauthorized or unwanted interference.

The configuration tool allows the license owner to office-generate a configuration file for a learnable remote control and email the configuration file to his customer, which not only ensures that the installer has 100% control of what is being transmitted by the customers learnable remote control, but which also strongly reduces the confusion and time required to get a new system up and running.

Installers / Programmers / Developers
No encoding/decoding skills are required. Our TT455-RT-238 both generates the codes from a pc/controller generated RS232 command-string and also decodes the codes for optional use in your system .
