TT455-RT-238 - How it works

In the basic installation, TT455-RT-238 is not connected to your devices.
It only requires power in order to operate.

The TT455-RT-238 can be hidden away and controlled by an external receriver,
or can be located amongst your other audio/video devices.

Se: Open and Hidden installations

The below pictures are property of Bose.

Here we have placed the TT455-RT-238 under the SAT on top of the DVD player.

Then point the controlling remote control (Apple, Bose, B&O, Keyspan, NEC, Philips, etc.)
in the direction of the TT455-RT-238 (or the external receiver) and activate the wanted command (Trigger).

See: Triggers and Actions

The TT455-RT-238 converts the Trigger to an InfraRed signal (an Action)
and send out a powerfull long-range wide-angle IR burst reflecting on your furniture, walls, etc. to control your devices.

And/or it will convert a Trigger into for example an RS232 command, controlling
your flat-screen, projector, lights, relay box, etc.
Up to 32 Actions can be executed on just one Trigger from the remote control.

Up to 32 pieces TT455-RT-238 can work together
allowing multi-room control of audio/video, light, curtains, garagedoor, etc.
